Delavan Ag Pumps is open.

Many state and local jurisdictions have issued stay-at-home, shelter-in-place or similar orders to protect their communities, including mandatory closures of non-essential businesses.  Under those orders, certain businesses essential to the continuity of functions critical to public health and safety, agricultural and horticultural supply chain operations, as well as economic and national security, are allowed to continue their operations.  The federal government’s Cybersecurity & Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA) developed an initial list of “Essential Critical Infrastructure Workers” to help state and local officials determine which business should remain open. 

Delavan Ag Pumps, Inc. (“Delavan”) manufactures and supplies products for use in agricultural production and providing cleaning services, by customers that are essential businesses.  We are considered to be an Essential Critical Infrastructure Worker under the CISA guidelines, and intend to remain open and continue producing our products and supplying them to the food and agriculture and other industries during any stay-at-home or shelter-in-place order that may be issued by state or local authorities.

The safety of our employees is of utmost importance to us.   For the well-being of our employees we have re-arranged our office and production area to maintain a social distance of 6 feet from each other.    Some people who can are working from home to help us provide for social distancing.   We are monitoring the health of our employees.  In the event we have a team member test positive for COVID-19, it is likely as a small business that we may need to curtail or suspend our operations for a period of time.
